| Design Pointers Vinyl comes in a huge range of options creating very cool effects: reflective, chrome, etched, frosted, holographic, brushed metal, gold leaf and more! Cut vinyl and printed graphics can be mixed We can layer cut vinyl for outlines and drop shadows Contrast and sans-serif fonts improve readability The color you see on computer screen will not equal the PMS number, so don't worry Any printed image for extended use on vehicles or exterior signage should be laminated |
| Vehicle Graphic Pointers Window glass curvature will distort images Most factory logos can be removed to increase the letterable area White on tinted windows gives the best contrast Vinyl on hoods, wheel wells, rocker panels will see a lot of abuse, requiring special lamination Rivets will impact your project: installation time, cost and material selection We cannot apply vinyl over wax, rust or unsound paint |
| Have Artwork? Great! We are happy to work with artwork you own, ideally created and provided in either Adobe Illustrator (CS6 or lower) or Corel Draw v12. Save the file as vector / line art with all text converted to curves / outlines. Note your fonts; include a print-out or send a pdf / jpg. Email the file to sales@wrapcitygraphics.com or drop-off a CD / flash-drive at the shop. For prints we can accommodate very high resolution tiff, gif or jpg files. If we do not believe your files will produce satisfactory results, we will let you know. We can also work with Photoshop and InDesign files, but not for all applications. |
| No Computer / True Graphics File? We can work with you to create / re-create artwork. Design fees will apply - but you will own and have on disc the art files. Great for business cards, print advertising, embroidery and more! |
| Need a new Logo or Corporate Identity? For a fee, our on-staff graphic artists are available to design logos or refresh your corporate identity. You will own the art file, which will be provided to you in a variety of file formats for future use. |
